Hey lovelies, it feels like I haven’t done a beauty post for so long so I thought I’d do one for you today! Considering how much I love makeup I hardly ever wear it anymore, I don’t wear any for work purely because it’s always rubbed off by the end of my shift anyway so I don’t see the point and at weekends if we aren’t going anywhere I never put any on either!
This weekend I went on a couple of countryside adventures with my fiancé and usually I wouldn’t be bothered about wearing makeup to go walking but I wanted to try out my new camera so I thought I better put a little makeup on so I don’t look half dead in any pictures!
Here are the products I used to create a natural, medium coverage, quick look!
L’Oreal True Match Foundation (1N Ivory) – I feel like this foundation is really hyped and although I don’t mind it, it definitely isn’t my favourite! It is only medium coverage but it was fine for an everyday natural look!
Collection Lasting Perfection Concelear (0 Extra Fair) – if you haven’t tried this concealer, where have you been? It gives a really good coverage and is perfect for under my eyes and on my nose as this is where my foundation tends to come off/break up first!
Rimmel Stay Matte Powder – this is another product which if you haven’t tried you must have been living under a rock! It has been a staple in my makeup routine for about 8 years now! I love this powder and will always go back to it no matter how many I try!
Freedom Contour Pan 03 – because I’m pale as a ghost I really struggle to find bronzers/contours which suit my skin tone. The colour of this Freedom Contour is great for adding a little colour to my cheekbones without making me look muddy!
Milani Baked Blush (Rosa Romantica) – I don’t wear blush very often but this adds a nice subtle colour to my cheeks to help create this natural look!
Makeup Obsession Highlight (Moon) – I don’t really own many subtle highlights seen as ‘Sophdoesnails’ influences most of my makeup purchases and she’s known for a blinding highlight! I absolutely love this highlighter and when I don’t know what to go for I always reach for this! A little bit goes a long way with this, especially when you want a more natural look!
Eylure Brow Pomade (blonde) – I’ve mentioned this brow pomade in a few of my posts now and it’s the only one I use! It is really creamy and makes application so easy! I just filled in my brows really lightly and it didn’t take long at all!
L’Oreal Miss Baby Roll Mascara – I really like this mascara, it is so lengthening and doesn’t clump together! I don’t find it overly voluminous but as I was going for a natural look this didn’t matter! It also doesn’t transfer under your lower lash line throughout the day which is always a positive!
There might seem like a lot of products in this post but my full face of makeup took no more than 10 minutes to apply and it lasted all day even after walking around in the cold for hours!
I hope you enjoyed this post! Do you love any of these products?
