May Favourites

Hey lovelies! I know I say this every month but I cannot believe another month of 2018 has gone already, it doesn’t seem like two minutes ago since I was just starting this blog in January and now we’re nearly halfway through the year! I know I shouldn’t be wishing my life away but I seen as I’ve got a Disney trip planned for December I can’t help but count down the days!

This month has gone by so fast, I don’t feel like I’ve really discovered anything new so this might be a short and sweet post sorry guys!

Beauty Favourites!

The only beauty product I have to mention this month is my Revolution Pro Regeneration Palette in ‘Revelation’ I’ve written a full review on it which you can see here. Whenever I’ve done any type of eyeshadow look this month it’s been this palette I’ve reached for! It’s got a range of stunning shades, it’s such good value for money and the eyeshadows are all so pigmented! I strongly recommend checking these palettes out!

Film of the Month!

We haven’t watched much at the cinema this month infact I think we’ve only seen Deadpool 2 so we haven’t got much use out of our Unlimited Cards but there’s loads of good films coming out soon! My ‘film of the month’ has to be Jurassic World! I know it’s been out for a couple of years but me and Ash had never seen it and with the new one coming out we really wanted to watch it!

I got the DVD for a bargain £2.99 in HMV and we absolutely loved it! The film was amazing I didn’t really know what to expect as I don’t remember watching the Jurassic Park films when I was young but I was pleasantly surprised. It was filled with enough action to keep me engrossed and the cinematography was simply beautiful! If you haven’t seen Jurassic World I definitely recommend it!

Purchase of the Month

If you follow me on social media you’ll know that I went to the Cath Kidston x Disney launch and spent way more than I planned to, I did have to use some of my savings for these products but in my opinion they’re definitely worth it, they’re great quality and I cannot wait to use them! I didn’t actually purchase the meadow bag myself that’s an early birthday present from my Mom so my purchases of the month were the meadow purse and the reversible Alice and Cheshire Cat backpack!

I also just want to mention this pin that I ordered from the lovely Charlie who runs the Etsy store Little Wallop you may know her as ‘disneybeanie’ on Instagram! When I saw this Wreck-It Ralph pin I knew I had to have it, this was Charlie’s first enamel pin she’s made and it’s amazing quality! She’s such a lovely girl and I’m always happy to support small businesses, she also threw in her ‘Heart of Te Fiti’ pin as a thank you for supporting her!

Blog Posts

My blog hasn’t done very well this month compared to my previous months stats but from what I’ve seen on social media a lot of people’s stats have been suffering! I’ve also been so busy that I haven’t been able to get much content written so I thought I’d include my favourite posts from the month!

Me and my Fiancé went on an anniversary trip at the start of the month to Wales as we’d been together for 4 years and I wrote two posts about our adventures which I’ve linked so you can go and have a read if you’re interested!

My anniversary present from my Fiancé was this Peter Pan Pop Vinyl! I’d seen this in HMV a few months back but didn’t get it and since then it hadn’t been back in stock so I was super annoyed that I hadn’t bought it when I first saw it! I was so happy that Ash managed to pick this up for me so I had to include it in my monthly favourites!

Blogger of the Month!

For the past two months I’ve chosen a blogger to include in my monthly favourites as I think it’s important to support fellow bloggers! This month my blogger of the month goes to Ellie from The Diary of Ellie she’s a lovely girl who is always willing to help out other bloggers when she can!

Ellie wrote an amazing post on skinny bashing this month which I’ve linked for you, it was such a truthful depiction of what some people have to go through on a daily basis just because they are seen as ‘skinny’. I completely agreed with everything that Ellie wrote in this post, you should all go and check it out!

That’s all for this post lovelies! What have you been loving this month?

  1. Aw I love how you’ve laid your post out to include different types of favourites and included a favourite blogger of the month too!
I really need to go back and see Deadpool 2, I was really sick when I went to see it but didn’t want to miss out on my Ryan Reynolds fix! But my illness distracted me from the film!
That Peter Pan pop vinyl is so cute as well!
    Great post! X
