Hey lovelies if you saw my latest post you’ll know I’m starting a drugstore makeup series on my blog; I love a good bargain so I thought why not share the best of drugstore makeup with you guys!
You can see my top 5 favourite products under £5 here and today I’ll be sharing my 10 favourite products which come in under £10, I’ve tried to include a range of products so you’d have practically a full face of makeup from all of these.
Maybelline 24HR Superstay Foundation – £9.99
The Maybelline 24hr Superstay foundation has been in my makeup drawer for a few months now and I have to say it may be my favourite foundation of all time! I had a bottle of Mac Studio Fix for Christmas which is more than double the price of this but I still find myself reaching for this over my Mac product most days!
The foundation is really full coverage and matte but it doesn’t look cakey or make your skin look dry. It applies really easily (I choose a Real Techniques sponge to blend my foundation out) and you can build the coverage over any redness or blemishes you may have. At just under £10 a bottle and usually being on some kind of 3 for 2 offer I don’t think you can go wrong with this product if you like a high coverage foundation. It also lasts really well so it’s perfect for nights out!
Rimmel Match Perfection Loose Powder – £6.99
I’m sure most of you know by now how amazing Rimmel powders are, Stay Matte will always be my holy grail but I do love this one too! It gives you such a flawless base whilst setting your foundation and concealer in place.
This product is such a good colour, it isn’t too white that it gives you flashback in photos and it isn’t too orange or cakey either! The only issue with loose powder obviously is the mess it makes everywhere but if you can cope with that I’d definitely recommend this product it’s fab!
Rimmel Sculpting Kit – £6.99
If you saw my Testing Rimmel Makeup post you’ll know that I picked up this sculpting palette for the first time ever and instantly fell in love with it. For just £6.99 you get a bronzer, blush and highlighter, this is such a bargain as you sometimes can’t get one of these products on their own for this price!
This palette is perfect for travelling because you only need to carry one product and you can finish your base within a minute or two! The bronzer is such a nice shade, not muddy at all, the blush is a really pretty peach colour and the highlighter is so natural and beautiful. I’ll always be carrying this product with me from now on when my makeup may need a touch up throughout the day!
Soph x Revolution Highlighting Kit – £8
This highlighting palette from ‘Sophdoesnails’ was part of her first collab with Revolution and it’s such good value for money, you get 8 shades in the palette so it works out at just £1 per highlighter, amazing!
This palette is perfect because it has lighter shades for people with paler skin and darker shades for people who have a deeper skin tone, I think there’s definitely something to suit everyone in here! Some of the highlighters are more natural but you can definitely build them up or mix two shades together to give you a highlight blinding enough for Soph to approve of.
Revolution Pro Regeneration Palette – Revelation £8
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this palette, as soon as I saw it I thought it looked so similar to the Huda Beauty Rose Gold palette and who doesn’t love a drugstore dupe? Especially when it’s 7x cheaper! I did write a full review on this palette which you can read here if you’re interested!
In true Revolution fashion the shades in this palette are stunning, they’re super pigmented and blend really easily! The shimmer shades are so gorgeous and you can create so many different looks with this it’s really versatile.
Since I’ve had this palette I’ve used it so often and I always love the looks that I create with it, it’s definitely becoming one of my favourite eyeshadow palettes I own!
Soph x Revolution Extra Spice Palette – £10
What a shock, another Revolution product! I honestly don’t think you can go wrong with Revolution products at all 90% of their products are amazing quality I think I’ve only tried one thing from them so far that I haven’t particularly liked so if you’re looking for a good cruelty free drugstore brand I’d definitely check them out!
This palette is from Soph’s second collab with Revolution, all of the shades in this palette are gorgeous especially the shimmers! There are some really bright shades in here that have really helped to bring me out of my comfort zone when it comes to eyeshadows I’d usually wear but I actually love them, again they’re really pigmented and blend beautifully. I did a full review on this palette when I first picked it up so check that out here if you want to see swatches/know more about it!
Eylure Brow Pomade – £8.95
Since I first started using a brow pomade to fill in my brows I haven’t looked back, I find them so much easier to work with because of how creamy they are I just think that they apply a lot nicer than pencil/powder products!
I picked up the Eylure pomade after my previous product had dried out a little and this is another product that I love! I have the shade ‘blonde’ but it’s not too warm toned like I’ve found in other blonde brow products before. It’s really pigmented so you don’t have to apply a lot of product to get the colour you need in patchy parts of your brows and it applies really easily!
I’ve had this pomade for over 6 months now and it still hasn’t dried out and I have well over half the pot left, for less than £9 you can’t go wrong with this product because it’s guaranteed to last you ages!
Maybelline Colossal Big Shot Mascara – £7.99
Is it just me that really struggles to find a mascara that I absolutely love? I know everyone seems to love the Maybelline Lash Sensational but I couldn’t get on with that so I decided to try one of their other products and picked up the Colossal Big Shot instead.
This mascara does a great job of adding volume to my lashes and curling them, it does lengthen them too but when I want a little extra length I will mix it with another product because I think it gives more volume than length.
However, if I could only use one mascara again I’d definitely choose this one as it’s the best one I’ve found that works for me so far! I’ll probably keep testing different mascaras but I would recommend this one if you have naturally long lashes and want something that gives you a lot of volume!
Rimmel Stay Matte Liquid Lipsticks – £5.99
These liquid lipsticks from Rimmel are such good value for money! They’re the best liquid lipstick formula I’ve ever tested for the price. I have this product in about 5 different shades now and I guarantee if they bring out more I’ll buy those too!
Rimmel’s Stay Matte Liquid Lipsticks are really pigmented and they apply so easily, they don’t feel drying on the lips and they last quite well too, what more could you want from a lip product?
They also come in a huge 25 different shades at the minute so I’m sure there will be at least 1 shade to suit everyone. Seriously next time you’re in the drugstore pick one of these up, you won’t be disappointed!
Maybelline Superstay Matte Ink Liquid Lipstick – £9.99
If you have a little more to spend on a lip product then these ones from Maybelline are great! They are £4 more than the Rimmel ones and I’m not as keen on the shade range in these but the formula and applicator are amazing so if you find a shade in these that you love treat yo’self!
This liquid lipstick is super comfortable, doesn’t make your lips feel dry in the slightest and definitely lasts the longest out of every lip product I’ve ever tried! I had this on for around 8 hours before and I’d even ate dinner in it and it didn’t budge at all, didn’t even need to be topped up! I’d definitely say these are worth the money!
I hope you’ve enjoyed this post lovelies, have you tried any of these products? What’s your favourite drugstore makeup product?
