Blogmas 16 – 2018 Beauty Favourites!

Hey lovelies! You all know how much I love makeup and testing new products so in this post I’m going to be sharing my favourite products from 2018 so you can find out what I think is worth adding to your makeup bag!

NYX Can’t Stop Won’t Stop Foundation

Coming in at £15 this foundation from NYX is at the very top end of a drugstore price range and I was dubious when I first got it but it’s AMAZING! I’ve written a full review of this foundation here but basically I’d definitely recommend it. The coverage is super full which I love in a foundation, it gives a lovely finish and lasts SO well! My favourite foundation I’ve tried this year by far!

Eylure Brow Pomade

I much prefer using a pomade to fill in my brows than a powder I just think they’re a lot easier to work with! I haven’t tried many pomades so I don’t have much to compare this to but it’s worked great for me all year and it didn’t start to dry up until it had been open for around 10 months which is pretty good going! I don’t feel the need to try any other brow products because this works perfectly in my opinion.

Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray

The beauty market is full of different products claiming to help your makeup last all day but I won’t use anything other than the Urban Decay All Nighter Spray, it’s one of my holy grail products! Whether it’s for a night on the town or a busy day out, this spray ensures my makeup stays in place for as long as I need it to!

Naked Heat Eyeshadow Palette

I’ve bought and tested A LOT of eyeshadow palettes this past year but the one I’ve reached for the most is definitely my Naked Heat palette! It has a stunning range of matte and shimmer shades and the shadows are so easy to work with that I know I’ll always be able to create a beautiful eyeshadow look with it!

Too Faced Melted Matte Liquid Lipsticks

Ok so liquid lipsticks are another guilty pleasure of mine and I have far more than I should have considering I only wear makeup like twice a week! This year I treated myself to the Too Faced ‘Sweet Smell of Christmas’ gift set which I reviewed here. I’m so glad I managed to pick it up as it sold out everywhere soon after and they are one of the best liquid lipstick formulas I’ve ever tried! They apply so easily, have great longevity and are super comfortable on the lips. I’ll definitely try more of them in the future!

Spectrum x Disney Brushes

After my birthday I decided to treat myself to The Little Mermaid Brush Set from Spectrum, it was quite pricey but The Little Mermaid is my favourite Disney film and the brushes are stunning! Spectrum brushes are some of the best I’ve ever tried and I hardly use anything else to apply my makeup now so it was definitely a good investment!
