Hey lovelies! If you saw my first festive makeup look a few days ago you’ll have read that I might share another one with you and this is it! I decided to just use drugstore products for those of you on a budget and I’m pretty happy with the outcome of this one, I even attempted my first cut crease!
I’ll list all the products I used for my base like I did in my last post but I’m not going to tell you how to apply them, I’m sure you all know by now!
Primer – Revolution Pro Pore Primer
Foundation – Maybelline 24hr Superstay
Concealer – Collection Lasting Perfection ‘0 Extra Fair’
Powder – Rimmel Stay Matte
Bronzer – MUA Bronzed Perfection Matte ‘Sunset Tan’
Blush – Revolution Blush Palette ‘Golden Sugar’
Highlighter – Sleek ‘Solstice’ Palette
Now lets get on to the main part of the look, the eyeshadow! Similar to my last look I first primed my eyes with the MUA Eye Primer and then while that set I filled in my brows using the Eylure Brow Pomade in ‘blonde’.
The first eyeshadow palette I used was the original Soph x Revolution palette and I took the shade ‘Cuppa Tea’ as my transition blending this through and above my crease. I then grabbed my Soph x Revolution Extra Spice palette and used the shade ‘Chocolate Orange’ to blend through my crease.
Once I was happy with the intensity of the ‘Chocolate Orange’ shade I attempted to cut my crease using a flat brush and some concealer, I don’t think it went too bad considering this was my first proper attempt.
I then used the Collection Glam Crystals in the shade ‘1 Glitz’ and lined my cut crease with this, because I used a silver shimmer eyeshadow all over the lid after this step can be skipped as it didn’t make much difference to the finished look.
Going back to my Extra Spice palette I used the stunning silver shimmer shade ‘Infinity’ and applied this across my whole lid!
When I think of Christmas colours I either think ‘red and gold’ or ‘silver and blue’ so to make this a little more festive I used the Barry M Kohl Pencil in ‘Kingfisher Blue’ and lined my lower lash line with this.
Finally I applied some Mascara using The Mascara Revolution and then because the eye look was quite heavy I went for a nude lip using the Matte Chauffeur lipstick from Revolution.
Here’s the finished look, let me know what you think in the comments!
I hope this has given you some more inspiration for your festive makeup looks!
